What If You Can’t Make A Lesson As A Volunteer Or Participant?
Missing a Lesson as a Volunteer or participant, not a worry!
As much as we would love for you to attend every training session and lesson that is offered, we understand that situations arise and you can’t always attend.
If the absence is on a training session, no worries! We will see you at the next one.
If the absence will be on a PARTICIPANT OR INSTRUCTOR lesson night, please contact your Instructor Coordinator Lisa Herder at (403)-391-6735 or email info@cadsRedDeer.ca The earlier the notice, the more time we have to reassign INSTRUCTORS AND PARTICIPANTS to ensure that everyone has a great lesson. It is important for us to know if you will not be attending so that we can make alternate arrangements and so that they are not sitting around waiting for you.
CADS Red Deer is a volunteer based non-profit charity that provides opportunities for people with disabilities to experience the joy of learning, participating and competing in alpine Snowsports. Our aim is to create a safe, inclusive and fun learning environment. More than just sliding, our participants learn tangible life skills, gain confidence, and develop life long friendships!
Participants receive one on one, needs-based instruction from trained volunteers. In order to facilitate a great experience for all of our participants and volunteers, CADS invests in instructor training, as well as the research and development of adaptive equipment and teaching methodology.
